Finally, youngster Damien came to us a matted mess and in need of immediate grooming… wait til you see the after photos, you won’t recognize him! He just celebrated his 2nd birthday on 4/9 just before being surrendered. His owner left for college and elderly family members were unable to care for him properly. He’s a little anxious and barks at first with strangers but warms up VERY fast and is a clingy Velcro boy. He was purchased from a pet store as a maltipoo though he definitely looks more Poo than Malt. 13lbs, non-shedding, getting neutered and updated on shots this week. He likes other dogs, was mostly using wee wee pads but goes outside as well, and is a social needy guy who dances for attention. Since COVID-19, we are no longer holding our Sunday adoption events until further notice, but we are scheduling meet and greet appointments with a specific dog or dogs at our meeting spots in Northern NJ.
