Meet Sushi! This sweet senior boy (around 8–10 years old) may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he becomes a total cuddle bug. Sushi prefers a calm environment and isn’t particularly interested in other dogs—he’d much rather spend his time by your side. He’s excellent on a leash and loves going for walks, followed by cozy snuggle sessions on the couch (especially if Bluey is on!). Sushi is still working on his house training and currently uses pee pads, so he’ll do best with a patient adopter who can help him continue to learn. Sushi can experience some separation anxiety, so he would thrive in a home where someone is around more often or can help him feel secure when left alone. Because he takes time to build trust, a quiet home where he can settle in at his own pace would be ideal. His experience with kids is unknown.
