About Cory

Cory is a mellow, sweet-natured adult Cocker Spaniel currently fostered in the Los Angeles area. He’s great with people, enjoys affection, and is happiest when someone is petting him. Cory’s a low-energy companion who loves a relaxed lunch or a gentle walk. His mild dry eye and a corneal scar—along with limited vision—don’t slow him down or dampen his spirit. Cory has a friendly streak with other dogs but can get a bit humpy when first meeting them, so he’s not suited for dog parks. If he shares a space with other dogs, Cory may mark until he settles in; in his current foster home without pets, he hasn’t marked at all. He came from a puppy mill in South Korea and is looking for a patient adopter with an adult-only household, ready for the learning curve that comes with helping a mill survivor adjust. A force-free environment is essential, and another confident dog may help Cory build security. With the right guidance, Cory’s likely to continue blossoming as a loving sidekick.
