Hero
AvailableHero is a male Cocker Spaniel with a beautiful medium-length blond coat, living in Sherman Oaks, CA. He is an adult, neutered, house trained, and his vaccinations are current. Though he has no special needs, Hero would benefit from a confident canine companion to help him find his footing in the world.
About Hero
Hero arrived at Camp Cocker with his two littermates after their family could no longer keep up with their healthcare needs, despite loving them deeply. At nine years old, Hero is a medium-sized Cocker Spaniel with a clean but still slightly shaggy blond coat. Life so far has been pretty sheltered for him—he and his siblings weren’t walked, socialized with new people, or introduced to busy environments, so the world outside is still very new to him. Hero is gentle and warms up to people he knows, but will need time and patience in a new setting. He’s used to relying on his siblings for confidence, so it helps him a lot to have another calm, assured dog as a role model. He’ll be happiest in a stable home with a friendly dog who can show him the ropes. Hero is house trained and up to date on vaccinations, and being neutered means one less worry for his adopter. Give this thoughtful dog a chance to discover new skills—and build the confidence he’s missed out on so far. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
