About Bowie

Think you are the one? Submit an application! Sweet Bowie is over the moon since being chosen by a family's little boy to leave the county shelter behind and start his new foster adventure. He initially spent some time decompressing and learning how wonderful it is to be loved and included in daily family life before moving on to a new foster home filled with playful, friendly dogs. Bowie quickly joined in on the group wrestling matches, delighted in chasing water from the hose, and dove into affectionate pig piles in the house, always eager to snuggle up with his foster family. Day by day, Bowie's confidence has grown by leaps and bounds, and he’s showing everyone just how smart and curious he really is. His foster mom finds him absolutely charming, describing him as wonderfully engaging with a sense of wonder much like a child exploring the world. He’s completely intrigued by the mystery of the disappearing water from the spray hose! Bowie is now house trained, very good on a leash, and increasingly skilled at picking up social cues from older dogs—transforming from a boisterous little brother to a thoughtful playmate. Bowie thrives with canine friends and would do especially well in a home with another playful dog or someone who can offer him continued socialization, like regular doggy daycare. At around eight months old, he’s crate and house trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vetting. Ready to explore the world with a loyal companion? Bowie could be your perfect match. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
