About Legolas

Unlike my namesake, I'm not an Elf of the Woodland Realm. I'm Legolas, a brave and loving terrier mix boy with lots and lots of love to give. At just 4-months-old, I'm already well on my way to house training, and I'm comfortable in my kennel once I settle. I weight about 20 pounds, so I should be a medium size dog once I'm all grown up. I get along well with other dogs (it would be great to have a fur sibling in my forever home), and probably older, sturdy kids (I might accidently knock littles over). To be my very best, I'll need a family who WANTS, LOVES, and HAS TIME for me. I'm the most gentle and calm of my litter and I love to be included in things. I enjoy being outside, playing, and then maybe settling down for a nap, so we'll want a fenced yard in my forever home. There's really no limit to how great I can be. If you're ready to teach me, I'm ready to learn. If this all sounds good, I'd love to meet you. Here's the app to make that happen: www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ **As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out** My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out* **Rescue One is unable to provide an exact prediction of how big or small your rescue puppy will become when full grown. Any approximation provided is no guarantee.** Don't forget to LIKE us on Facebook!-www.facebook.com/rescueonespringfield *Remember, dogs are pack animals. Because of this, Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes. Pets are family and are not disposable. Please make sure that you are 100% committed to a pet before considering adding one to your home. We are a foster-based organization, and we need more fosters to help us save more animals!
