Sweet as a sundae is exactly how I got my name — and honestly, it fits me perfectly. I’m Sundae, a 4 year old, 90 pound chocolate terrier/lab mix with a big heart, a goofy personality, and a serious love for fun. I’m the kind of girl who wants to play, explore the house, and be part of whatever is going on… especially if snacks are involved. (I can sit… but let’s just say food is my motivation!). I’m crate trained and I actually like my crate — it’s my cozy little comfort zone. At bedtime, I’ll even start heading in there on my own while you’re getting the rest of the house settled. I’m a fan of structure and routine, and it really helps me do my best. I’m still working on housebreaking, and I’ll need a family who will keep up with my training. One important thing to know: if you don’t take me straight outside right after I come out of my crate, I can get distracted and have an accident on the floor. I’m learning, I’m trying, and I’m going to do best with someone who’s consistent and patient. I’m also working on leash skills, and I’m good with other dogs and older kids. I’d love a home with a fenced yard where I can safely burn off my energy — I’m not really an apartment kind of girl. For the perfect sweet treat, just order up a Sundae and I will come running!
