I promise to always look at you with adoring eyes. I'm Ivy, a 8 month old 44 pound package of hound/terrier and cuddle buddy. I'll eventually grow into a medium gal, but right now I'm concentrating on smiling, playing and napping. A great cuddle after a play session is perfect! I'm already comfortable in my kennel and house trained! I'm also leash trained, although I'd rather just hang out in the backyard with family and friends. I know sit, shake, fetch, and down! My foster mom says that I am super intelligent and learn very easily. I consider myself to be very athletic and I get really excited when you get out the leash. Same thing with the car....just get out the keys and I am ready to be your co-pilot! When I want to show you something you may have missed, I lift up my paw as a way to get your attention. I get along with dogs, cats and respectful children although I would love a home where I got all the attention. Sitting on your lap and showering you with kisses is just about my favorite thing in the world. My forever home should be filled with loving, patient people who are committed to helping me reach my full potential. We should go on adventures and then return to our happy home with a fenced yard. I love the lake, hiking, car rides and walks. I would love a home where I am not left alone for too long since I love to be around my people.
