About Ocean
Ocean is a lively young Lab mix who’s quickly become one of the shelter favorites in Springfield, MO. At about 2 years old, she lives up to her name: she’s full of energy and always ready to dive into fun, whether that means chasing tennis balls or playing with her favorite squeaky toys. Ocean’s personality is sweet, loving, and a little goofy—she thrives on attention and interaction with her people. She would be happiest in a home with a fenced yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content. With her activity level, older children (12+) will match her best; younger kids may find her too rambunctious. She gets along with other dogs and would enjoy meeting any canine companions you already have, but cats aren’t her thing. While she isn’t house trained just yet, she’s eager to learn. Ocean is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has received her flea, tick, and worm preventatives. Give her a chance, and she’ll prove she’s worth every splash of effort.
