There’s nothing I love more than a quiet home, a warm place to rest, and being near the people I care about. I’m the kind of dog who’s happiest just sitting close by—like a grandpa by the fire, listening to the sounds of home and soaking up the comfort of family. They call me Reece, and I’ll be 11 years old in March. I weigh about 64 pounds, and I’m ready for my next chapter: a peaceful retirement home with good food, gentle routines, and lots of affection. I’m already house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, so I know how to be a polite member of the household.I’m a very laid-back old gentleman. I don’t need chaos or constant activity—I just want to feel safe and loved. I get along well with other dogs and cats, and honestly, I might enjoy living with another calm older dog (or two). A home with a fenced backyard would be wonderful for me—somewhere I can safely stroll, sniff around, and enjoy the fresh air at my own pace. One important thing: I need a home with no children. I’m an older guy and I do best in a calm, predictable environment. And like most old men, I’ll admit… my eyesight and hearing aren’t what they used to be. Sometimes I’ll bark at a new sound, just to make sure everything’s alright. But underneath it all, I’m just a sweet soul who wants comfort, kindness, and a soft place to land.
