You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Molly is an approximately 2 year old shih tzu who was surrendered to us by an in-home breeder who is getting out of the business. She's very small and delicate, weighing around 8 pounds. She is a shy gal but is very nice and doesn't mind being held and cuddled. We will get her vet checked and vaccinated on April 13th and will then schedule a good grooming and spay surgery. Her fee is $150. Molly is looking for a patient ADULT only home. She will need basic training. She would love a home that is experienced with dogs like her, especially their grooming needs. She has not yet learned how to walk well on a leash but should learn quickly. We do think she would do well with another small dog and she should do okay with cats. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
