About Daisy

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Daisy arrived at the shelter with her companion Biscuit after their owner passed away, and she’s looking for a gentle, understanding home. Daisy is a charming, scruffy small mixed breed with poodle and terrier qualities, estimated to be around 4 years old. She has a nervous side and was quite shy at first, needing time to adjust before she was ready for adoption. While Daisy and Biscuit would love to stay together, they can now be adopted separately, though adopting both would make a wonderful pair. A fully fenced yard is required for Daisy’s safety since her leash skills are still developing. She will thrive in an adult-only home or one with teens, and ideally somewhere calm with patient people willing to help her gain confidence. Daisy previously lived with other small dogs but can be timid around bigger ones. Regular grooming is part of her care, and her compatibility with cats is unknown. If you’re ready to give Daisy a loving home, make sure you’re 21+, and any resident dogs are up-to-date on their vet care. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
