About Nanette
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Nanette is a wonderful pit bull/boxer mix who was taken in after her stray hold was complete and no one came forward. Around 3 years old, she's a happy, loving, and well-mannered girl with a gentle temperament. Although she had some hair loss due to a previous flea issue, she's received proper care and is looking great now. Nanette currently weighs about 55 pounds and has a sturdy, short build. She has basic training under her belt and is house trained, making her a great companion for families with kids over 5 and even for those with a well-mannered male dog. Her interactions with cats are not known. Nanette will be fully vetted and spayed, ensuring she's ready for her forever home. Adoptions at this rescue are completed through private appointments after an approved application. Potential adopters must be at least 21 and any current dogs in the home should be current on vaccinations, heartworm preventatives, and altered. Ready to welcome Nanette? She's waiting for her perfect match at the Mower County Humane Society, near the Austin airport. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
