About Gypsy Azalea

Gypsy Azalea and her best friend Cacahuate (Peanut in Spanish) came to Frosted Faces Foundation after being surrendered together from Baldwin Park Shelter. From day one, it was clear these two share a very close bond, and we are hoping to find them a home where they can stay together. At 9 years old, Gypsy is a tiny sweetheart at just 7 lbs. who loves nothing more than being in a lap and close to her people. Peanut, 7 years old, is equally affectionate and gentle, and the two are happiest when they're together or near their humans. They are described as very bonded and emotionally connected companions. Both dogs are extremely people-oriented and excited to meet everyone. They aren't shy with strangers, they want to be held, get close, and will happily try to lick your face to say hello. They have not shown aggression toward people and are very affectionate in nature. At home, they are mellow and enjoy lounging and napping, though they do best with structure and supervision. They enjoy short walks and time in the yard, but are just as happy resting nearby their person throughout the day. They are currently on a Frosted Fling while we continue learning more about them and helping them settle into home life. One important note is that they are still working on house training and do best with a consistent routine and contained space when unsupervised. Despite that, they are described as "the sweetest dogs ever," and they are clearly very attached to one another, making them a strong bonded pair. Gypsy and Peanut are looking for a calm, loving home that will keep them together and give them the stability they thrive on.
