About Mac

Mac landed at Palmdale Animal Care Center as a stray with his buddy Cheese, and after nobody came to reclaim them, they ended up at risk. Frosted Faces Foundation welcomed them on May 4th. Mac is a 9-year-old Chihuahua weighing around 16 pounds, with a mix of black fur and plenty of mellow wisdom. He and Cheese have stuck together through the stress of kennels and the uncertainty of shelter life, but once outside, a whole new side comes out—gentle, content, and eager for people to hang with. During a special offsite adventure, Mac and Cheese showed real pep, soaking up nature walks and thoroughly enjoying their park time. Mac is soulful, a calm presence who will lean in for affection or a gentle treat. He charms everyone he meets by being warm, patient, and ready for a snuggle when the mood strikes. Mac is food-motivated and a courteous walker. He and Cheese meet new people without a hint of reactivity. They’d do best in a friendly, walkable neighborhood where daily strolls are on the menu. Frosted Faces Foundation would love to get Mac and Cheese into a foster or short-term home to help them decompress and shine. If you can offer them a peaceful place to land, they’ll reward you with genuine companionship and sweet, steady presence. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
