I live up to the name, but what really makes me special isn’t just how I look... it’s how much I love. I’m a 2-year-old border collie mix with a gentle heart and a simple goal in life: to be close to my people as much as possible. I’ll be honest with you, I’m still figuring some things out (and who isn’t!?). I don’t have a long list of tricks or big life experiences just yet, and new things can feel a little overwhelming at times. But I’m trying my best every single day! I’m currently enrolled in Confidence College here at Wayside, where I’m learning how to be brave, build trust, and grow into the best version of myself. With a little patience and encouragement, I know I’ll keep blossoming. What I do know is how to love, and I do that really, really well – If I do say so myself! I absolutely adore being near my people. Whether we’re sitting together, taking a slow stroll, or you’re giving me belly rubs (my favorite!), I’m happiest just being by your side. I don’t need a busy lifestyle...your presence is what means the most to me. I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only pup, and I’d do best in a house rather than an apartment so I can feel comfortable and settled. Most importantly, I need a kind, patient person who will give me the time I need to feel safe and confident. I also like to keep my space nice and tidy; I’ve been doing a great job keeping my kennel clean here at Wayside! I think that’s a pretty good sign that I’ll enjoy having a cozy home of my own.
