He came into rescue from a rural area with his mom and four siblings, and because he didn’t get much early socialization, he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. Wally tends to observe the world from a safe distance at first—often choosing a cozy hiding spot under a shrub in the yard where he feels secure. But with a little patience and kindness, he begins to come out of his shell. And when he does, you’ll discover just how incredibly sweet and tender-hearted he is. He loves playing with other dogs and would do great with a confident canine buddy to help show him the ropes, though he’s also content doing his own thing at times.
