About Peggy Sue
Peggy Sue is a two-year-old Shetland Sheepdog/Border Collie mix who weighs about 25 pounds and is ready for a new start with a devoted person. She’s all about loyalty and connection—Peggy’s happiest right by your side, whether that's cuddled up on the couch, trotting together on long walks, or playing a game in the yard. Deeply affectionate and eager to please, she listens well and is quick to pick up commands, especially when treats are involved. Peggy needs a home without cats or small animals due to her strong prey drive. She might do well with another dog her size or larger once she’s had a proper introduction, but she’d also thrive as your one-and-only. She was found on the street in rough shape, but foster care has helped her regain her health and trust. Through it all, Peggy never stopped loving people, staying gentle and steadfast. Peggy is spayed, vaccinated, house trained, and on preventative meds. An adopter will need to understand her journey and make her the center of their world—she’ll return that love with total devotion. Peggy Sue’s Leo sun sign means she’s spirited and bold beneath her soft exterior. Give her a chance, and you’ll find a once-in-a-lifetime companion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
