Dog's Name: Pup Hoppy (HOP0426ALAMN) Estimated Breed: Dachshund / Scruffy Terrier mix Approximate Age: 4 months Approximate Weight: 17 LBS Currently Living at: Coming Soon Adoption Fee: $500 DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Hoppy! This adorable 4-month-old Dachshund/Scruffy Terrier mix is making his big trip from Alabama to our area, along with his equally lovable sister, Pup Bunny—and he's on a mission to find a forever family to call his own. Pup Hoppy is everything you could want in a puppy: happy, playful, and affectionate. Whether he's romping around with his doggy friends or curling up for some cuddle time, Hoppy brings a little extra sunshine wherever he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine buddy or an active family ready to include him in daily life. Like any young pup, he's still learning the ropes and will benefit from patience, love, and positive training as he grows into the amazing dog he's meant to be. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion, Pup Hoppy is ready to be part of your pack! Apply today Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
