As is happening more and more often, EINSTEIN was sadly a victim of his family no longer having the means to care for him. Relinquishing him was their only option. Handsome EINSTEIN is confused but still interested in being given attention and some loving. His family reported that, "He is a very sweet, shy, goofy, cuddle bug. He is good with cats, kids and people - likes to play but also likes his alone time." EINSTEIN is trained to ride in a cat backpack and is also leash trained! Sounds like EINSTEIN is one smart cat! He was obviously loved and would be a wonderful cat for any family. Children should be old enough to understand about soft, gentle touch, no squeezing hugs, and though EINSTEIN loves a cuddle, he also likes to be able to go off on his own for quiet time. Everyone needs to remember that no cat wants to be restrained when they want to get down, and if they are restrained, they may panic, resulting in scratching and biting. Sometimes life is hard for people and often the pets suffer. Rather than abandoning him as many do, EINSTEIN's family made sure that he would get a shot at having a new home and family. Maybe you are looking for a companion to join you on bike rides. In a cat backpack, he could watch your back for riders coming behind you! Or maybe you'd like to take a walk together!
