About Butterball

Butterball is a dapper tiger-striped cat who, despite his time as a stray, carries a plump frame—a clear sign he didn't go hungry for long. He’s genuinely friendly and mixes well with most cats in his room, holding his own when needed. Attention is high on his list of favorite things, especially if it comes with belly rubs for his irresistibly round tummy. Butterball’s easygoing nature extends to shelter visitors, including children, and he is comfortable around gentle, non-aggressive cats. His past remains a bit of a mystery, but he arrived neutered, suggesting someone once cared for him. He's FIV-positive but in good health, and with proper care, he has every chance for a full and happy life. Butterball isn’t concerned with his past—he just wants a steady supply of food, a warm place to nap, and people who’ll give him the attention he craves. If you’re looking for a charming, food-loving feline who appreciates comfort and company, Butterball is ready to settle in. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
