🐶 Basics • Mocha • Age / Size: 8 weeks, 5lbs, small • Rescued in Texas 💙 Foster Note Mocha is a walking snuggle-factory. He would be a great addition to a home of parents with busy work schedules since he doesn’t require a lot of time, just companionship. He doesn’t sleep for too long at a time and early morning rises are very much his norm, and after a quick cuddle he’s back to napping while we get ready for work. Big appetite in the morning usually subsides later in the day. He’s not very food/treat motivated (yet??) but loves neck scratches instead. He loves being held and carried – any excuse to be closer to you. 💛 Personality Snapshot Playful, Cuddly, Curious. Moderate energy at this point and extremely People Oriented • How do they handle new situations? Good in new situations. Very calm, adjusts quickly and becomes the most popular guy in the room. 🐕 Social & Home Life • How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? Extremely good with all. Adults, children, and new people. • How are they with other dogs? Good. Not aggressive. Let’s them sniff and get to know him. Easy going. • Cats or other animals (if known)? Unknown. 🎓 Training & Manners • Potty trained? Working on the pee pad – working on consistency but lots of strong progress. • Crate trained? Not yet • Leash skills: Not using a leash yet as he's still unvaccinated. 🌞 Daily Life • Typical day with you: Wake up for breakfast and a little play time. We come to the office where he gets showered with attention and love. We go home for dinner and snuggles and play. • Exercise needs: Limited. Pretty energetic but mostly happy sitting and napping. • Favorite activities or toys: Strings, rope, etc. 🌱 Growth Areas • Anything they’re still working on? Independence – want him to feel ok being in a room alone to hang or sleep. • What helps them succeed? Positive reinforcement via physical affection. 🏡 Ideal Home • Only dog / With dog / Either: Either. • Good fit for apartment living? Yes. • Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): Moderate-calm. • What kind of adopter would be the best match? Anyone who wants an extremely loving dog!
