🐶 Basics • Java (Cowboy Jav) • Age / Size: 8 weeks, 5lbs, small • Rescued in Texas 💙 Foster Note I have only known him a few short days but everyone he has met so far has fallen in love! He is very sweet and has a spunky little personality, strutting around the apartment looking for his next toy to play with. When out and about in the purse he is well behaved, observing the world around him and welcoming pets from new friends. He is very go-with-the-flow, and is a fast learner, I think anyone would be lucky to have him as an addition to their family! 💛 Personality Snapshot Sweet, smart, confident, curious. Moderate energy, has puppy zoomies but is a good napper! Likes to play fetch. He is people oriented for sure! Loves pets and scratches. He is very adaptable— I have quickly acclimatized him to my apartment, being in a purse, going potty in his spot, and sleeping in his pen for naps and bedtime. 🐕 Social & Home Life • How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? Seems to do very well! Lets new people pet and hold him. • How are they with other dogs? Seems fine, he has sniffed my friends dog, but hasn’t played with other dogs yet. • Cats or other animals (if known)? Curious about cats, he is getting used to mine! 🎓 Training & Manners • Potty trained? Working on it! He's just a baby but learning quickly! • Crate trained? Working on it! He is getting used to relaxing bully stick time in the crate as part of his routine. He's very treat motivated. • Leash skills: Getting familiarized, is great with his little harness, and is slowly learning the leash. • Commands known (if any): Sit! 🌞 Daily Life • Typical day with you: Wake up, go potty, eat, play, go potty, nap, rinse and repeat! • Exercise needs: Needs play time as part of his routine, but is a chiller! • Favorite activities or toys: He loves fetch, playing with crinkly toys, and chewing on teething toys. 🏡 Ideal Home • Only dog / With dog / Either: Either • Good fit for apartment living? Yes! • Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): Moderate • What kind of adopter would be the best match?
