Meet Vesta! Your overachiever who decided to major in being pleasant in dog college. At just 16 months old, this Border Collie Great Pyrenees mix is about 70 pounds of easygoing, thoughtful dog. She somehow skipped the whole teenager phase and landed squarely at the nice to live with phase. She’s generally mellow, is not out looking for trouble, and is perfectly content to just exist alongside you. She’ll play when invited, but she’s not going to run you into the ground or act like she’s training for a marathon. She's more polite participation than the more typical border collie full-time event coordinator. She’s great with other dogs, but if another dog comes in hot and bouncy, she’s not impressed. Calm, well-mannered friends are more her speed. She’s also fine with cats and not interested in making poor life choices there. Vesta is calm, housebroken, steady, and generally an A+ dog, and she’s the kind you don’t have to manage every second of the day.
