Meet Cassidy! Cassidy is a two-year-old Great Pyrenees who has no interest in being a problem. She’s sweet, gentle, and a little shy at first, the kind of dog who takes a minute to decide if you’re worth her time. Once she does, she’s friendly, easygoing, and very comfortable just existing as a good dog. This is not a dog who is out here making bad decisions. She’s not rearranging your house, picking fights, or testing your will to live. Cassidy understands the concept of behaving like a civilized member of society, which already puts her ahead of half the population. She would do well in a lot of homes. She doesn’t need anything over the top, just people who are kind, reasonably competent, and willing to give her a minute to settle in. She does need a fenced yard. Not optional. She’s a Pyrenees, which means she has strong feelings about where she belongs and where she might like to wander off to if given the opportunity. And yes, she sheds. A lot. If you’re asking that question like there’s a chance she doesn’t, this is not your dog.
