Kent is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees mix who is ready to take up permanent residence in your house and on your couch. Kent weighs about 75 pounds, which puts him in the sweet spot of Pyr sizing. He's big enough to feel substantial, but not so big that he forgets where his feet are. He is a very good boy with a strong preference for the comforts of home and the company of his people. Kent does not enjoy being alone for long stretches. He is looking for a homebody. If you work from home, are retired, or just genuinely enjoy being around the house, Kent thinks you are excellent life material Kent would prefer to be your one and only dog. Other dogs are tolerated at best, but he would be much happier soaking up all the love, attention, and admiration without competition. Cats are just fine. He has lived with them and does not care about their existence as long as they respect his personal property, namely stuffed toys and chew bones. Kids over 10 would be fine. A securely fenced yard is required so Kent can stretch his long legs, patrol his space, and enjoy fresh air. He is not a fan of crates and does not see the point of them. Fireworks are another hard no. Kent is firmly of the opinion that they should be illegal. Kent lives for toys. Squeaky toys and chew bones are not optional extras. They are a lifestyle requirement. He would appreciate a home that understands the importance of a well stocked toy basket and regular de stuffing opportunities.
