About Matilda
This could be the start of something paw-some. Matilda came to the shelter alongside her companion Sandy after their owners were unable to keep them due to a move. Matilda is a truly sweet Aussiedoodle who thrives on attention and loves to show her playful, affectionate side once she feels comfortable. While shelter life makes her a bit nervous, she blossoms when given a little time out and about. She is a smart girl, already knowing some basic commands and walking beautifully on a leash. Matilda is also completely potty trained, so transitions to a new home should be smooth. Her previous family shared that she does well with other dogs and children, though she’d love to meet any potential canine siblings to ensure a perfect match. Having been bonded with Sandy from a young age, Matilda could thrive either as a duo or find happiness on her own. Matilda is a 5-year-old Aussiedoodle with striking grey and chocolate curly hair, which adds to her unique charm. Please remember that her curly coat requires regular brushing and grooming appointments to keep her happy and healthy. As a fun astrological note, Matilda is an Aquarius—often known for their quirky and independent personalities! All dogs adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, dewormed, updated on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested if old enough, and receive a starter bag of Hills Science Diet food. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
