Soon after, her two puppies, Max and Myles, were also rescued and the little family was brought to safety. Having raised several litters in her past, Athena is now looking forward to a calm, loving home for her next chapter. Affection radiates from Athena—she absolutely adores people and delights in every opportunity for belly rubs and leisurely walks. With her gentle demeanor, she’s quick to steal hearts with her sweet, upturned smile. Athena is a ‘low rider’ Pit Bull mix with a beautiful black and white coat, and she seems happiest when she’s the only dog in the home. Though she’s been kind and loving with her own pups and some younger puppies at the shelter, Athena truly prefers being the center of attention. While her patience and loving nature suggest she’d be wonderful with children, she thrives best without other dogs around.
