Athena
AvailableAthena is a medium-sized, short-haired, black and white Pit Bull mix living in Trenton, MO. She is an adult female who has been spayed and vaccinated. While she is not yet house trained, Athena's gentle personality and affectionate nature make her a standout companion.
About Athena
Athena was found abandoned on a gravel road with two puppies at her side, Max and Myles. She’s clearly had more than her fair share of pups, but this chapter is closing—she’s done with motherhood and ready for a soft landing in a warm home. Athena adores people and seeks out belly rubs and leisurely walks. She has a gentle streak, and her affection really shows, especially with those she trusts. Athena prefers to be an only dog but has tolerated her puppies and a couple of younger pups in care. She’s otherwise not keen on other adult dogs. With humans, though, she’s especially gentle, and she’d likely thrive in a home with children. This squat, blocky Pit Bull mix sports a low-slung frame, a sleek black-and-white coat, and a perpetually sweet grin. She’s not house trained yet and will need guidance in a new place, but her loving nature and eagerness to share life with people stand out. Athena is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
