About Valko

Valko came to the city shelter twice—once in August 2024 and again on Halloween 2025 after a return from adoption. He’s absolutely ready to settle somewhere for good. Valko greets everyone like an old friend. He knows basic commands, already masters house training, and his energy keeps things lively. Give him plenty of walks or, better yet, a spacious fenced yard so he can stretch his legs. After burning off excitement, Valko shows his softer side: he’s a belly rub enthusiast and a cuddler when it’s time to wind down. He’s lived with dogs and enjoys meeting new canine company, and he’s got a solid record with kids from his past home life, too. He’s a 5-year-old black, white, and tan Husky/Shepherd mix with brilliant blue eyes and a plush long coat. His adoption includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, deworming, and a starter goodie bag from Green Hills Animal Shelter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
