**Meet Sassy ** Sassy is a sweet little 30 lb survivor from Oklahoma who landed in rescue after finding herself in a kill shelter-but you'd never know it from her gentle, loving nature. This slightly chubby Rat Terrier mix is all about the snuggles and is happiest curled up in your lap, giving endless kisses and soaking up affection. Sassy is what you might call a "velcro dog"-she loves being close to her person and will happily follow you around just to be near. She's quiet overall, prefers to express herself with soft little whines, and has excellent kennel manners (keeping it clean all night-impressive bladder of steel included!). She enjoys her walks and does her business when out and about, though she'll need a little help polishing her leash skills. She's curious but polite with cats (honestly, they seem more concerned about her than she is about them!) and doesn't react much to other dogs-even when they bark at her. She may give a bark back, but it comes with a wagging tail. Sassy is still settling in and may be a bit anxious at first, so her playful side hasn't fully come out yet-but give her time and love, and you'll see her blossom.
