Meet Mac - Denny's Protector & Best Friend Hi! My name is Mac, and I'm so happy you're here reading my story. I was found on the streets of Mexico in pretty rough shape - covered in mats, ticks, and fleas, and very dirty. But then something wonderful happened: I was rescued and brought into foster care, where I finally got the love and care I needed. Even better? I was reunited with my best friend, Denny. My foster mom later learned that Denny and I had both been found in the same field in Tijuana. When we ended up in the same foster home, it was clear right away - we knew each other. Whether we were brothers or best buddies before rescue, our reunion was pure magic. We are completely bonded and must be adopted together. I'm the more confident one in our duo and very protective of Denny. He follows my lead in everything - when I potty, he potties; when I play, he plays. I help him feel safe, and he helps make my world complete. A little about me: I'm completely potty trained, eat great, and sleep well in a crate (especially when Denny is nearby - otherwise we'd just stay up playing). I'm a young guy with a fun amount of energy, but I also love to snuggle. I do great in the car, I love people, and I'm generally pretty relaxed. I haven't been around cats yet, but I'm not overly worried about them. I do bark occasionally, usually at my foster dog siblings or the backyard neighbors. One of my absolute favorite things in the world? The toddler in my foster home. I adore her. I follow her around, give lots of kisses, and clearly think she's the best thing ever. Sometimes I get a little too enthusiastic, so my foster mom helps me settle - but my heart is always in the right place. My dream home is one that understands how special bonded dogs are. Denny and I come as a package deal - twice the love, twice the snuggles, and a friendship you don't get to see every day.
