Mabel is a snuggler who loves lounging on the couch, getting pets from her humans, and frequently forgetting she is not actually a lap dog. She is a medium energy girl. Mabel has short bursts of energy during the day where an enrichment toy or a walk goes a long way, but she is just as happy soaking up a sunny spot and napping on the couch. Mabel thrives on a routine. She eats two meals a day, sleeps in her kennel at night, goes potty when asked, and enjoys relaxing with a bully stick or Kong. Mabel needs to be the only dog in her home. She ignores cats and could do well in a home with them. She walks beautifully on a leash and would also enjoy having a yard where she can run around and stretch her legs. Mabel has completed a basic group training course and has also spent nine months in daycare and training, where she learned solid basic obedience including sit, down, no, go to kennel, go to place, waiting her turn for a treat, sitting before going through doorways, and walking nicely at heel.
