About Vivi

Meet Vivi! Vivi was picked up as a stray and spent some time at animal control before making her way into rescue. Now about 10 years old, Vivi still carries herself with an energetic, playful spirit—her tail is constantly wagging, and she’s always curious about what’s going on around her. If there’s movement, Vivi wants to be in the middle of it, and she’s not one to be left out of any activity. She’s a bright, eager-to-please little dog who already knows how to sit and responds to "no." Vivi is picking up quickly that calm, settled behavior gets her plenty of praise and pets. She keeps her kennel clean and has transitioned to doing well with house training after a brief adjustment period in her foster home. Vivi has met the resident dog and did just fine but can be on the enthusiastic (and vocal) side with new pups; she’s still figuring out dog manners and will need slow introductions. She can be sneaky around doors, so adopters need to stay alert—Vivi’s got a love of running, so she must never be off-leash unless the yard is completely fenced. She isn’t fond of young, noisy kids but does okay with older children. Vivi is vocal with strangers, especially in apartment settings, so she needs a house with a secure yard. If you think Vivi’s mix of spunk and loyalty might be the match for your home, she’s waiting in Rochester, MN. Ready to get to know Vivi? Your new best friend is just one click away.
