Meet Chula! Chula is an 11-year-old mixed breed cattle dog with the sweetest soul and the happiest smile. This precious girl was deeply loved by her owner, who made the incredibly difficult decision to surrender her due to health issues. Chula is friendly, gentle, and truly enjoys being around people. She’s great with kids and does well with cats, making her a wonderful companion in a calm, loving home. She has been used to being the only dog, so she may do best as your one-and-only or with very careful introductions. Right now, Chula is on a journey; she is about 40 pounds overweight, but she is already making great progress with gentle care, proper diet, and support. She’s handling it beautifully, and we are committed to helping her reach a healthier, more comfortable place. Despite everything, Chula remains happy, loving, and full of life. She has that special kind of presence, the kind that makes you smile right back at her.
