Meet Pepper! Pepper is a bright, energetic young Border Collie pup looking for a fresh start with a family who understands his unique needs. He’s incredibly smart, eager to engage, and full of the kind of energy that’s typical of his breed. He loves to move, explore, and learn! Pepper came from a home that wasn’t able to provide the structure and training he needed, so he’s still learning how to navigate the world around him. He is a fear biter, which means he’ll need an experienced, patient home that can help him build confidence and feel safe through positive reinforcement and consistency. He is not aggressive, but his fear response is something his new family must be ready to support with care and understanding. Pepper is currently living in a foster home with two tolerant Golden Retrievers, but his rough play style has proven to be too much for them. This sweet boy has so much potential in the right hands.
