Meet Lizzie 💗 Two years old and already a professional heart-stealer. Lizzie is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix currently being fostered and learning just how good life can be inside a home—and she is doing SO well. She’s really starting to come out of her shell, and it’s been incredible to watch. She’s the kind of dog who looks at you like you’re her whole world. The kind who melts into your lap, rolls over for belly rubs, and reminds you daily that the little things? She’s building her confidence day by day and just needs a family willing to continue helping her feel safe. She’s also learning about the world, including walking on a leash. It seems like this might all be new to her, but she’s making great progress! She does much better on a harness than a collar, so that will be a must for her future home. In her foster home, Lizzie is discovering soft beds, cozy blankets, and what it means to be loved—and she is absolutely soaking it all in. She doesn’t need much—just a patient, understanding home, a cozy place to land, and someone who will love her through her journey.
