About Greta
Greta, along with her best friend Sharla, found herself facing the world without a human in sight—literally raised outdoors, no sofas, no squeaky toys, just instinct and survival. Their story could have ended there. But these two came out the other side as affectionate, gentle dogs who trust people and lean into kindness, despite every reason to do the opposite. Sharla and Greta are a bonded pair of Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier mixes, tightly knit and inseparable, each other's backbone through thick and thin—so they're adopting out together, no exceptions. Greta is about a year old, spayed, fully vaccinated, and currently soaking up the comforts of foster care in Fosters, AL. She is still learning how house life works, but already gets along well with other dogs and children. Greta is not yet house trained, but she’s bright and quickly figuring things out. If you want love and loyalty, you'll get those in double. Their adoption fee is sponsored as a bonded duo. They can be transported north for a reasonable fee if needed. Give both of them a shot, and let double the resilience move in with you. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
