Sharla
AvailableSharla is a young, large mixed breed combining Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier, currently in Fosters, AL. She's a spayed female and up to date on vaccinations. As she was born and raised outdoors, Sharla is not yet house trained, but she’s thriving indoors and learning quickly. She’s looking for a home with her bonded sister, Greta, where they can both continue to grow in confidence and comfort.
About Sharla
Sharla and her sister Greta are a bonded pair of black Lab/Pit mixes who started life fending for themselves in the woods. Early on, they got used to surviving without anyone around, but instead of being fearful or wild, both girls turned out sweet—almost suspiciously gentle, considering their history. They lost their mom young and lived alone until they were rescued, sticking together every step of the way. Despite a rough start, both have shown a remarkable ability to trust people. They’re about a year old, spayed, vaccinated, and healthy, now learning to enjoy the comforts of indoor life. Expect some adjustment—these two are still getting used to couches and house training—but their kindness is obvious. What matters: they’re inseparable, so they need a home together. Adopting Sharla and Greta means bringing home double the affection, loyalty, and resilience. If you’re looking for a built-in support system that’s already proven they can make it through the tough stuff, these girls are it. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
