Boss is here in Maine and he is fabulous! We believe he is a Schnauzer mix. He is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs around 15 lbs. He came into rescue when his owner had to go into a nursing home. Even though he is three, he is still energetic and will need a family committed to giving him play time and exercise. He will also need regular grooming. His foster in Maine says: "Boss (Called Fran at home) is a curious little sweetie with the best lashes in Maine! He’s very eager and playful, loves to be outside, and is very affectionate as he decompresses in his foster home. He’s extremely goofy, loves to rub up against bushes and furniture for a full body scratch, and is obsessed with tennis balls, which he enjoys playing with by himself. He’s doing great in Portland and loves meeting other dogs and people in the park! Fran is medium-high energy but is happy playing by himself. He does very well in his crate overnight and for long stretches during the day, and has yet to make a peep! He’s very food motivated and is likely easily trainable! Fran is figuring out where the right places to go potty are but has been perfectly behaved with a belly band . Fran is just one good haircut and one loving family away from becoming the dog of a lifetime!"
