About Oshe
Click apply to start the adoption process. Oshe is a sweet, large Black Labrador Retriever mix who has been waiting patiently for his chance to come to Maine. Originally coming into rescue from a shelter in Alabama, Oshe never lets his past bring him down—he is always eager to share his gentle spirit and loving heart. His size, at about 65 pounds and only a year old, has made finding a foster challenging, but it also means he's in the perfect stage of life to blend into an active, fun-loving home. Oshe loves playing with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion who is as playful as he is. He has the bouncy energy you’d expect from a young pup and enjoys spending time with children, though he’s best suited for homes with older kids who can keep up with his enthusiasm. Cat tested in Alabama, Oshe was actually a bit afraid of cats, so he should do well in a home with felines if introductions are made slowly and carefully. He is still learning his leash manners and will benefit from patient adopters ready to guide him as he explores the world beyond the shelter. Oshe is eager for a loving family to help him shine—could that be you? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
