Poor Oshe, he's been waiting for his chance to come to Maine for quite some time. This sweet boy came into rescue from a shelter in AL. We're not sure how he came to be there but he's oh so sweet and seems to not let his past get him down. Finding fosters here in Maine for larger dogs is a challenge and this boy weighs in at about 65 lbs at a year old so, sadly, his size has prevented him from making his way north. We're hoping to change that this spring! He is good with dogs and would likely do best with a doggy friend that would like to play with him. He's got normal energy appropriate to a one-year-old pup. He would likely love some kids to love on him but we recommend older kids as, due to his size and exuberance, he might accidentally knock a little one down in play. He was cat tested in AL and seemed to be afraid of the cat so we think he would be fine with a cat or cats, given slow and proper intros. He's learning to walk on leash but hasn't had a lot of practice in the shelter or in boarding so will need some leash manners practice with his new adopter. He's a super sweet boy in the prime of his life who deserves a loving family- could that be you?
