Zuzu has been here in Maine, waiting for her forever home for quite some time, and although her foster loves her, we would really like to help her connect with her forever family. She came into rescue from the shelter in AL and we do not know her breeds- she is currently just under 20 lbs at around 6 months old. We believe she will likely stay on the smaller side of medium when full grown. She is a sweet and playful dog that has energy so will need a family that can give her daily walks and playtime. Another dog that likes to play would be really beneficial to Zuzu. She is learning to live with the cat in her foster home but does occasionally tackle the kitty so we recommend that she go to a home without cats. She is good with kids but still has some puppy exuberance so a home with older kids would be best. She absolutely loves the snow and playing with toys, particularly her rolling treat ball. She's hoping her forever family has one of those! She is potty trained when kept on a schedule and, although she doesn't love the crate, she will quiet down after a few minutes.
