About Lily
Once upon a time, there were some people who thought, "Wouldn't Grandma just love to have a kitten?" Lily was that kitten. Lily loved Grandma, cuddled with her, and even slept under the covers with her. Seven years later, Grandma died and nobody wanted Lily because she wasn't a kitten anymore. Lily is now a petite, middle-aged girl who misses Grandma and aches to love someone the way she loved Grandma. Lily has "good girl" written all over her and shows definite signs of being one of the world's sweetest cats, ready to respond to attention with a warm purr. We have not observed her with other cats, dogs or kids. Lily would do best in an interactive home where she isn’t left alone for long hours. Whoever is fortunate enough to adopt this girl will gain a devoted companion for life. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has been treated for worms and fleas, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adopter will receive her medical records. She’s being fostered in Wellesley. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. In Lily's case, it's a mere $165-- a bargain for a new best friend who will love you for the rest of her life. Cats can live past 20 years --don't be surprised if Lily makes it that long-- so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps rescuers match cats with the right adopters.
