About Sera
Sera is a quiet heart wrapped in a playful spirit. At about 2 years old, this Basenji mix weighs in at a perfect 32 pounds of snuggly sweetness. Life is still a bit of a learning journey, and she’s actively working on house training, crate time, and perfecting her leash skills. Her progress shows every day. Sera blossoms best in a calm, peaceful environment—loud or busy homes, especially those with children, can make her nervous. She’s had a scary experience in the past that led her to nip, so a child-free home is important. Once she’s settled, Sera’s affectionate, goofy, and deeply lovable side comes out. She soaks up belly rubs, showers her people with sweet kisses, and treasures time curled on the couch after walks—her favorite way to explore and gain confidence. Sera gets along with both dogs and cats, making her a potential companion in the right home. When meeting new people, shyness comes first, but a little patience is all she needs before her true self shines through. Sera will need a privacy fenced yard to enjoy her athletic spirit. If what you’re after is a loyal, gentle companion who will reward your patience with boundless love, Sera may just be the perfect match. They don’t get much more adorable.
