I'm lucky to be alive and so grateful that reading my bio right now – I'm Jett, a 4-year-old, 55-pound male Pit Bull Terrier mix, happy guy! My journey started in Animal Control where my time was almost up. Lucky for me, Rescue One swooped in and saved the day. My foster mom even dropped the leash on the way to the car, but I just hopped right in! Now, I'm here, ready to bring all the happiness, energy, and smiles into your life. And. . . I'm a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program!!!! Pups 4 Parole made a world of difference for me! Not only have my leash skills improved, but I have more confidence! I get along with dogs and even hedgehogs, but not cats (I like to chase them). I'm a very athletic boy and I need daily exercise. I love jumping and running, so a privacy fenced yard would be best for me. If you're very active, I could live in an apartment, as long as we could go for lots of walks/runs, or maybe doggy daycare. I would also love to have an older kid to play with! I know commands like "sit," "down," "off," "kennel," "potty" (to go outside), and "come inside." I have proven myself to be a velcro dog, happily following you around all day. I can be nervous around men, but since graduating from Pups 4 Parole, I warm up easily. Overall, I'm an active boy who loves to cuddle up on the couch for a good Netflix series.
