FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ember! Ember is a 1-year-old, 25 lb Chihuahua/Spaniel mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This sweet girl has a gentle heart and is looking for a calm, loving home where she can feel safe. Ember is incredibly sweet and affectionate, but she is also quite shy and still building her confidence. New environments can feel overwhelming for her, so she will need a quiet, predictable home with patient adopters who will give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Because of her sensitive nature, Ember would do best in a home outside of a busy city environment, where things are a bit more quiet and low-key, allowing her to relax and settle in more easily. Once she feels comfortable, Ember loves to cuddle up with her people and be close. She has a soft, loving nature and forms strong bonds with those she trusts. She does great with other dogs and could benefit from a calm canine companion, but she could also do well as an only dog as long as she continues to be socialized. Ember is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
