FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Bumi! He is a 3-year-old, 20 lb Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by his owner when she could no longer care for him. Bumi is a sweet, cuddly little guy who loves his people and has the cutest tiny overbite that gives him so much character. He’s happiest when at home or on a walk (dog parks overwhelm him). After he gets his daily walk he’s totally content to lounge around and cuddle for the rest of the day. Bumi is fully crate-trained, and food motivated. He can do well with other dogs with a slow introduction. He could live in an apartment and does not need a yard; he is pretty quiet in the home. He is working on potty training and leash training and as long as he’s taken out consistently, accidents are rare. He prefers to have a crate around so he can snuggle up in there when you’re not at home...it is a safe place for him! He is a happy go lucky guy who would love a home who will shower him with all of the love and attention he deserves! Bumi has had seizures in the past when he has become overly stressed. We are looking for a calm, quiet home adult only home with a patient adopter who can help him keep his stress to a minimum. He does not require medication as these events happen infrequently and he recovers quickly from them, but it is something to be aware of. Bumi is fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
