FOREVER HOME NEEDED: (She is currently in a foster home with another dog and older children) Meet Dolly! She is a sweet Chihuahua–Spaniel mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. At around 17 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-small size—easy to scoop up for cuddles but sturdy enough for daily walks and adventures. Dolly loves her treats and is very food-motivated, which has helped her make great progress with training. She is mostly potty trained and continuing to improve every day. She walks fairly well on a leash, though loud noises can make her nervous, so she does best with a patient person who can offer encouragement and reassurance when the world feels a little scary. Dolly enjoys playing with other dogs but has shown some reactivity when it comes to food and attention. She would do well by being the only dog with continued socialization or with another confident dog in the home. She absolutely loves her humans and loves to receive and give love and snuggles! This little girl thrives on kindness and positive reinforcement. With a calm home and lots of love (and treats!), Dolly will continue to blossom into a confident, devoted companion. She’s patiently waiting for a forever family who will cherish her and help her feel safe—she’ll return that love tenfold. Dolly is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
