About Santiago
Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Santiago is a small Chihuahua–Dachshund mix with a thoughtful nature and a tender heart. Having come from a group of dogs with feral backgrounds, he is still acclimating to life in a home and discovering what it means to feel safe and secure. As a flight risk, Santiago will thrive in a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can explore at his own pace without worry. He isn't comfortable with much handling at this stage and seeks a calm household that values quiet companionship and gentle respect. Santiago may prefer space to snuggles, but his gentle presence brings a sense of quiet connection. With patience and consistent routines, his confidence can blossom. For those who believe love can mean simply sharing space, Santiago offers a truly meaningful bond. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
