About Arizona H
Arizona is a striking Shepherd/Malinois mix who came to Nebraska after being pulled from a high-kill California shelter during an emergency. This young, large dog has a ton of energy, drive, and true working-breed intensity. His favorite thing in the world is toys—he'll ignore treats when he knows there's a ball to chase or something to fetch. Arizona is clever and tuned-in, learning new commands quickly and thriving on mental challenge. He gets along well with other dogs, both male and female, and shows no aggression with canine friends. Arizona needs an experienced adopter—someone who knows working breeds and can keep up with his energy while providing daily exercise and mental games. He does have epilepsy, triggered mainly by overstimulation, but his current meds keep him healthy and happy. With the right structure and outlet, Arizona will make a rewarding, attentive companion for someone ready for the demands—and joys—of a bright, driven dog like him. Your new best friend is just one click away.
