Atreyu came to HUA because he was going after the resident chickens. He is one big, fun fellow. Atreyu loves being around people and isn’t shy about asking for attention—he’s as cuddly as they come and always happy to be nearby. He has done very well learning the leash and his caregivers continue to work with him so that a nice, long stroll is something that both dog and human can enjoy. Atreyu likes his time in Playgroup with the other dogs, although his rough-and-tumble play style can be a bit much for the quieter pups. A feisty canine sister who loves play would be perfect for him in his home. That, and lots of toys, as this handsome hound dog loves a good chomp on a Kong now and again. Visit Atreus at www.hua.org!
