About Atreyu
Atreyu is a big, fun-loving Redbone Coonhound who ended up at the rescue after showing too much interest in a flock of chickens. He’s got a goofy side and is always eager to be near people, soaking up attention and doling out affection in equal measure. Atreyu is a classic cuddle bug, never shy about nudging in for more pets or a good snuggle. On leash, he’s made real progress—still learning, but already showing how enjoyable those long walks together can be. Time with other dogs in Playgroup brings out his energetic, rough-and-tumble play style; he’s liveliest around canine pals who can keep up with his eagerness and gusto. If your home has a playful dog already, even better. And toys are a must for Atreyu, who has a weakness for a Kong to chew. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
